Our Honeymoon Cottage is a separate and independent house on the grounds of Persimmon Creek Cottages. Although we named it after the traditional newlywed getaway, it is perfect for all who want to have a cozy, quiet and very relaxing getaway! This cottage originally was a schoolhouse on the Oklahoma Prairie. We moved it and completely renovated it in the old fashioned style of an earlier, slower time. It features a large whirlpool tub with a great view of our magnificent sunsets on the open prairie around us! The large bathroom also has a walk-in shower. The private bedroom has a queen size bed and original hardwood floor, and opens out onto the back patio. The kitchenette offers a sink, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster oven, crockpot, eating area, and fridge with freezer space. The sitting area has a loveseat, an overstuffed chair  and an iron daybed over 100 years old which sleeps one.  A large coffee table provides a place to play games or to just put your feet up while napping or watching the flat screen satellite TV!  There is internet access in the cottage. The central air and heat keep you comfortable year round! Please give this space a try! We love it and you will, too!
